Responsibilities (typical services you may provide).

As an Eco Pros AYS contractor, you may choose jobs that include:

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and/or polishing floors
• Dusting furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Emptying trash bins and replacing liners
• Cleaning windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces (interior)
• Sanitizing and cleaning toilets, sinks, and other bathroom fixtures
• Replenishing toiletries and other consumables as needed
• Notifying Eco Pros AYS Support of any safety concerns or maintenance issues you notice in a client’s home
• Following basic health and safety best practices while you work

Requirements

• A passion for cleaning and responsible home care
• Ability to pass a background check with our third-party provider
• Reliable transportation to and from client locations
• Basic cleaning supplies and equipment (or willingness to obtain them)
• At least 18 years of age
• Professional cleaning experience preferred (housekeeping, janitorial, hotel, Airbnb, etc.), but we also consider motivated candidates with strong references

commissions and fees

Commissions & Fees

Eco Pros AYS pays you as an independent contractor based on a percentage of each job you complete (details are provided during onboarding).

Contractors are responsible for any background-check fees charged by our third-party screening provider. These fees are paid directly to the screening company, not to Eco Pros AYS.

We do not charge signup fees or ‘profile activation’ fees.

common expenses

As an independent contractor, you may have some typical business expenses, such as transportation costs to and from client locations, and basic cleaning supplies (trash bags, sponges, spray bottles, vacuums, mops, etc.). These expenses are your responsibility as a self-employed professional and may be tax-deductible—talk to a tax professional for guidance.

I understand that I must complete and pass this background check before receiving client referrals, and again each January to stay active on the platform. Any background-check fee is paid directly to the screening company, not to Eco Pros AYS. Completing a background check does not guarantee any minimum number of job offers or earnings. I acknowledge that this background-screening requirement is part of the Eco Pros AYS Independent Contractor Agreement (Section 3 – “Background Screening & Ongoing Eligibility”), which I have reviewed on the Eco Pros AYS website.
